More than several LaptopsForLess Affiliates have been asking about using PPC (pay-per-click) programs with the LaptopsForLess.com Affiliate program. I think it is about time that I post some helpful info for affiliates who are starting out with or even just considering PPC programs to augment their income.
You
can make money with Google Adwords and other PPC (pay per click) programs. The trick with PPC programs is to design and implement your ads so that they minimize curious browsers/surfers/looky-loos and go after the people that actually are ready to buy instead.
In order to do this and still generate volume, you have to do 2 things:
1) The ads you place in the PPC program must
be very specific, virtually down to an individual product model. Meaning.. don't advertise "laptop batteries" or "pda batteries". Instead advertise...
"UP325385A4H Apple iPod Internal Battery - Factory-direct prices. Same Day Ship, 30-day money-back guarantee, and 1-year warranty."
And then
make the link a direct product link to the buy page. You can find this direct link that has your correct tracking link/code by logging into your affiliate account at CJ and then searching our CJ product catalog for UP325385A4H.
For more detailed info (prices, commissions, etc) on linking to this product and other products which are currently in hot demand, go to our dedicated ABestWeb Forum where all my previous announcements are posted...
http://abw.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=frm...79&f=9516089345(Click on the topic dedicated to the UP325385A4H, and the other one to GPS receivers which are also in high demand, and yet another one devoted to flat panel tv power supplies which are a new product line of ours and can be hot sellers if you hit the right crowd.)
2) The second thing is to
compensate for a lower volume of clicks per ad which is the result of precision targeting. Because you'll be getting very specific with your ads, you will see the click volume on each ad go down. And this is OK, because you want clicks to be reduced, and sales to go up so you make more profit on your ads, right?
So what you do is
place many ads to very specific products like I showed you with the Apple iPod Internal Battery example. In fact, if I were in a beginner's shoes I'd start out with the iPod Battery example, along with another ad for the GPS products and then another to the flat panel tv power supplies (total of 3 ads). Be sure to use the marketing info which is listed in the ABestWeb topics which I've posted in the
LaptopsForLess.com Forum Topics. Also be sure that the link you make goes
directly to the product buy page, for example the CJ link should take the customer to a landing page like
http://store.l-f-l.com/cgi-bin/cp-a...ref=UP325385A4HIf those work for you, find more hot individual products and place ads for them using the same principles.
And for even more volume,
multiply exposure of your ads by branching out into other PPC programs. You can find profitable PPC programs like Google at Overture.com, Mamma.com, kanoodle.com, and there are more (many of them with lower average bids than Google). Here are some you may be interested in:
