Blogger Blew It

I have been using Blogger.com for a long time.

Before google bought it.

But now Google has decided to make some upgrades which I can understand, but they forced me to upgrade my account, I have avoided it for many months by just not logging in.

Today my old password stopped working with Microsoft Word, and I didn’t have a choice I had to log into my blogger account.  By logging in my account was upgraded and given yet another password to another Google site, I have lost count as to how many of these passwords I have now, and also my Word add-on does not work anymore.

This is a shame, since it is the entire reason I was using blogger.  I could type in Microsoft Word then just click and it was posted to Blogger.  This was an awesome feature….

But it’s gone now, and I am stuck with more passwords to remember.

So I am going to have to start switching all my blogs over to Xsitepro  it is not quite as easy to use or to publish as Blogger was, but it is easier than any other way and it does give me a lot of control that I didn’t have before over the way my pages look.

I knew this day was going to come, I just didn't want it to come so soon.
